Executive Officers
Ronald G. Evangelista, President
He is a 38-year veteran of the Rochester Police Department. He has been the president since January 1, 1981, when he left his assignment as a Homicide Investigator and was elected union president. He is currently the longest standing president in Locust Club history. After 13 years of street assignments, he was elected as the president and has been assigned to the Locust Club as a full-time representative for the past 22 years. He is also the President of the Monroe County Police Benevolent Assoc. and is a charter member of the newly formed Upstate Police Benevolent Assoc. which represents police officers on statewide issues.
Michael D. Mazzeo, Executive Vice President
Mike was appointed to Executive Vice-President on January 7, 2005. Prior to his appointment, Mike served as the Treasurer for the Locust Club for three years and has served on the Finance Committee and on the Executive Board for over twelve years. Mike also serves as a member of the Labor-Management committee. He is a recent graduate of the Michigan University Police Union Executive Leadership Program. Mike is also the Assistant Treasurer of the Rochester Police Benevolent Association.
William C. Wood, Jr., 1st Vice President
A veteran of 33 years with the Rochester Police Department, Bill has held several positions with the Locust Club. A seasoned street cop, he enjoys organizing the Club's social and charity events, such as the annual Open House, Golf Tournament, conventions and monthly meetings. He is also responsible for our office building located at 1425 Lexington Avenue.
Ted Coriddi, Treasurer
Ted is an 13-year veteran of the Rochester Police Department. He is a police officer currently assigned to the Background & Recruitment Unit as the Background Coordinator. Ted was appointed Treasurer in January 2005. As Treasurer, he is the chief financial officer of the Locust Club and is chairman of the Board of Finance. Ted is also on the Negotiating Committee.
Ralph J. Gagliano, Secretary
Ralph was elected in 1986 and his union duties consist of recording all official minutes at Regular and special meetings. He chairs the "Command Committee", has been a member of the Negotiating Committee for several years and is currently a member of the Committee on Political Endorsements. Ralph is a graduate of NYS School of Industrial Labor Relations at Cornell University with a certificate in Labor Studies. Ralph was promoted to sergeant in 1987 after serving 11 ½ years as a patrol officer in various assignments; he currently is assigned to the Background & Recruitment Unit.
